RELIGION AND LITERATURE IN THE MIDDLE AGES

 The proseminar shallbe devoted to the relationshp between literature and religion. Texts will be analyzed which show different aspects of religious life: miracles, the cult of Virgin Mary, the sin and the Redemption, mystic experience,but also profanation and sacrilege.
