FRENCH TOWNS SINCE THE XVIIth CENTURY UNTIL NOW

The arise of the modern towns shown through  their plan, their architecture, their authorities, their inhabitants, their everyday's life, their economy and culture, on the example of Bordeaux in the  XVIIIth century, Toulouse in the  XIXth,  Strasbourg in the XXth. and the newly built cities in Ile-de-France.
